FIFA 23 is set to be right on hand as teams look to progress in Europe after releasing Road to the Knockouts cards in Ultimate Team.
RTTK player items tie into the biggest European leagues in football and followed Ones to Watch as EA’s second promo of the season.
Road to the Knockouts cards are dynamic FUT items for players whose teams are competing in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.
First introduced in FIFA 22, this year’s edition work in a similar way in that they are can earn a maximum of two upgrades to their stats.
- Wins upgrade: The player’s team wins at least two of their remaining three group stage games.
- Qualifications upgrade: The player’s team seals passage into the knockout rounds of their chosen competition
The first wins upgrade will go live on October 21st, meaning any player whose team have got two wins will have their stats boosted.
Qualification upgrades will go live starting November 4th following the end of the group stages.
The likes of Phil Foden will still have to wait until then regardless of Manchester City securing qualification early!
Champions League cards that have their teams secure Europa League qualification will not receive the qualification upgrade for example…
The actual RTTK players themselves do not need to feature in the games for club for them to count towards the upgrade
