Liverpool are in pole position to lure Thomas Lemar away from Monaco this summer, according to reports in France.
The French winger has been scouted regularly by the Merseysiders this season, while Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid are also admirers.
Lemar only joined Monaco from Ligue 1 minnows Caen last summer but made an immediate impact upon his arrival, scoring three goals in his first six games.
The 20-year-old has gone on to make 30 appearances for Leonardo Jardim’s side this term, although he has been demoted to the bench for the club’s last four games.
That has sparked speculation that Lemar could be on the move again this summer, with L’Equipe suggesting Liverpool are leading the chase for him.
